What is Live Art?
Marli will paint watercolour portraits of your guests live at your event! This is such a unique experience for your guests and gives them a keepsake to take home at the end of the night.
It takes Marli 5-7 minutes to paint each guest. Adding transition time between paintings, Marli can paint roughly 8-10 guests per hour. The portraits are painted on 4″x6″ high quality watercolour paper and placed in a protective plastic sleeve.
Marli arrives early to set up and brings everything except a table and chair. She can paint on site anywhere from 2-8 hours, depending on how many guests you want portraits for.
How it Works
1. Guests have their photo taken at the live portrait booth
2. Marli paints the portraits while guests enjoy the party
3. Guests pick up their portraits before they leave for the night

Add Ons
There are certain add-ons available with the live art experience.
Wedding Couple
After the wedding, I will paint the wedding couple from a provided photo on 8"x10" watercolour paper in my pen and watercolour style.
Wedding Party
After the wedding, I will paint five 8"x10" portraits from provided photos of your key wedding party members. These are perfect gifts for bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents and more!
Missing Guests
After the wedding, if there are guests that were unable to have a portrait done during the event, I will paint their portraits on the usual 4"x6" paper and ship them to the wedding couple for distributing.
